The Best is Yet to Come

I am a planner by profession and have always asserted that everything starts with a plan. We started the year with a detailed and achievable plan of hitting all-time high targets. For the past three quarters, we chipped away at the seemingly lofty objectives only to realize that we are already at the cusp of achieving them.

And as we bring 2017 to a close, it comes with it a sense of achievement as PODC is poised to finish the year with its best performance…ever. This serves not only as proof of the attractiveness of our products and services but, more importantly, it is a testament to the competitiveness and resolve of the company’s greatest resource…..our people. Needless to say, GREAT PEOPLE MAKE A GREAT COMPANY. And it is in this belief that we usher in 2018 with renewed optimism, a tireless work ethic, and an unwavering commitment to deliver the Gold Standard.

But now is not the time to rest on our laurels. In fact, now more than ever, the battle cry for operational efficiency and product superiority takes on a more profound meaning because of the ever-crowding marketplace for real estate products. Quality projects, unbeatable payment terms, and superb after sales service are the pillars of PODC’s unique selling proposition…but so are a lot of other developers out there. So, you may ask, how do we differentiate ourselves and rise above the rest of the competition?

It all boils down to our VALUES. Although it may sound like a cliché, it is our corporate values of Integrity, Excellence, and Professionalism that will guide us in our daily grind as well as in making tough decisions. Apart from sound financial returns and happy customers, it is these same values which will propel the company to greater heights in the years to come. Having said that, I guess the question each of us has to ask ourselves… are we, as an individual, aligned with these corporate values?

If we aspire to be truly great, we now have a decision to make.
