Pueblo de Oro Development Corp., represented by Product Manager Voltaire Antonio M. Flores and Marketing Assistant Ricardo V. Zafra, participated in the 1st Asian International Real Estate Expo and Conference (AIREEC) held from December 6-10, 2007 at the Philippine International Convention Center in Manila.
The AIREEC, an affiliate of the world's largest trade show for real estate in Madrid, Spain, is the first-ever international real estate expo and convention of its kind to be held in the Philippines. Real estate brokers, realty developers, and consultants from over 50 countries worldwide were in attendance. The conference was an opportunity to introduce the PODC brand and products to the international market as part of PODC's strategy to go global.
The conference covered topics on e-Commerce, Internet Marketing, Selling to Baby Boomers, and Global Marketing, which are reflective of the trend in real estate sales all over the world.
Based on 2006 sales statistics of Pueblo, more than half of its buyers are either OFWs, foreigners married to Filipinas, balikbayans and soon-to-be retirees. The company intends to do more promotions to this market as it gears up to the introduction of new products such as The Courtyards at Pueblo de Oro (townhouses) and a possible condominium in the Business Park.
