Pueblo de Oro

Xavier University (Ateneo de Cagayan) is one of the most prestigious schools in the region. The 13-hectare Pueblo Campus houses the High School and Grade School departments.

Founded in 1975, Corpus Christi School (formerly Little Schoolhouse) is now one of the top educational institutions in Cagayan de Oro. Corpus Christi has acquired a 1-hectare property next to Vista Verde, with another hectare alloted for a football field.

Commercial Center

SM City Cagayan de Oro is owned by the largest mall operator in the Philippines, SM Shoemart Group. The three-storey shopping mall houses restaurants, retail outlets, a supermarket and cinemas.

Construction is underway on multi-level parking building.

Pueblo de Oro Development Corporation has donated a 2-hectare site beside Philamlife Village to the Archdiocese of Cagayan de Oro for a church to service the spiritual needs of the Township's residents.

Plaza de los Heroes

Located on Masterson Mile along the national highway (Masterson Avenue), the Plaza de los Heroes is a black granite memorial shrine dedicated to the heroes of the Three Battles of Cagayan de Misamis (1900-1901) during the Philippine-American War. A brief narrative of each of the battles as well as all the heroes who died or were wounded in the said battles are inscribed in the walls of the monument.

The Plaza brings a part of the rich historical heritage of Cagayan de Oro to the new Township.

The 50-room luxury Hotel Koresco at the Pueblo Golf Estates overlooks the driving range and the golf course. Consisting of four stories and a basement, the hotel includes banquet and seminar rooms, a lobby lounge, massage room, karaoke, and restaurant. Other amenities include an outdoor swimming pool, 30-car parking area, and an annex dormitory facility for golf trainees.

A Petron gasoline station is located right in the Township. The gas station is conveniently situated beside SM and at the crossroads of Masterson Avenue and the West Diversion Road.

Link2Support, the first call center locator in Cagayan de Oro, has chosen to locate in the Pueblo de Oro IT Park. Link2Support began operations on June 2005 with 300 seats. Eventually, the call center is expected to generate employment for 600-1000 people.

Urban Rainforest

The Pueblo Urban Rainforest is comprised of 40 hectares within the Pueblo de Oro Township. Thirty thousand "wildlings" or endemic tree species will be purchased from the Mt. Kitanglad National Park in Bukidnon to be planted in the Pueblo de Oro Township, and for every wilding planted in the Pueblo Urban Rainforest, a corresponding wildling will be planted in Mt. Kitanglad. The project represents PODC's commitment to biodiversity conservation.
